Trip to Manikaran to hot springs

Manikaran is located in the Parvati Valley on river Parvati. It is famous for its hot springs and beautiful views, also Manikaran is a sacred place for Hindus and Sikhs. There are many Hindu and Sikh religious buildings. Hindus believe that Manu recreated life here after the flood.

Hot spring water is considered healing. Manikaran has bathing facilities (separate for men and for women).

We will go by car on picturesque road among the mountains, the road in one direction takes about two hours. Arriving in Manikaran, we will see the sights, bathe in hot springs, if desired, and eat in a cafe or in a Hindu temple.
